"Opportunity comes to pass, not to pause."
Answers to Prayer
There is great comfort in reading in Luke that Jesus needed rest with His Father. According to John, our best rest will come at a time when the world is in great turmoil. Thank You for the rest with You we can enjoy now. Thank You for the rest we shall one day begin.
Pastor Tony N?ɬ??ɬ±ez expresses his thanks for your prayers as he presented his paper last week in Oxford. On the one hand, almost everything that could have gone wrong did. On the other hand, God is still sovereign, and the message was delivered. The Nú?ɬ±ez family is now together in Europe. Their plans will take them through France and Spain before returning home. Continue to pray.

I inadvertently overlooked this request last week from Ray and Donna Banks (I'm waving the flag). Would you make this a priority, especially on Tuesday? "Timmy's 3 year old cousin is having tubes inserted into both ears. He is unable to hear in his right ear and barely hearing in his left. Surgery is the 16th but keep all in your prayers. Pam and Keith would appreciate your prayers for guidance."
Lester and Laura Black, New Tribes Mission representatives will be speaking this morning at Weeks Mill Baptist Church and this evening at Winter St. Baptist Church. Ask God to help the Blacks present a fresh vision of God's work around the world, especially through New Tribes Mission.
Bill and Joyce Holeman are at a church in Newberry Springs. Ask God to bless their ministry this morning and that traffic will not delay their return.
Pastor Woody and Barbara Blalock are ministering to many with hurting families. Ask God to supply His strength and bring new life out of tragedy.
Pastor Rigsby begins faculty preparation this coming week for the new semester at Talbot. The siesta is over!
Mike and Berniece Cosgrove's niece, Regina, and her children are moving to Arkansas. Ask God to direct in a way that they might better know Him.
May we rejoice or pray with you? Others will intercede with you on your behalf before the throne of grace.
